e-mail
Tutorial
To send and retrieve e-mail from your server you have to
first setup your e-mail program. For the purpose of illustration we use the e-mail program
Eudora as it is one of the more popular e-mail programs and it can be downloaded for free
from the Internet in its "light" version.
We use Eudora's "Personalities" menu here as it
allows you to see all the required data in one window (but you should start at the
beginning of the Option's menu: "Getting Started" window and enter the
information as requested).

- In the "Personality" field just type the name
you would like to give this configuration;
- In the "Real Name" field, type in your real
name;
- In the "POP account" field type in your Domain
Name;
- In the "Return" field type your e-mail address
where you would like to receive your e-mail (this could also be an e-mail alias);
- In the "SMTP" field type in the information
provided by your ISP (Internet Service Provider);
- Close the program and try it out by sending a message to
yourself.

To configure Eudora Pro to communicate with
your virtual POP server select the: "Tools" pull-down menu, then
